HMI LIVE (ILive)

Remote Monitoring of Automated Systems

HMI Live enables mobile access to your industrial automation systems once developed by DePeuter Packaging Solutions. It seamlessly discovers and connects personal devices to robotic systems that provides a data publishing service. The app delivers real-time insights from Human Machine Interfaces and PLC readings, making it easy for users to monitor the status of every element within their automated setup—from robot operations and secondary components utilization, including detailed recipe statistics per robot’s workstation. This granular visibility enables operators and managers to make informed decisions faster, reducing downtime and optimizing daily workflows.

HMI Live Version 1.0 only allows connection to servers while your personal device is connected to the same Wi-Fi local network used by the industrial automated system that is publishing the data. Although the connectivity depends entirely on the range of your Wi-Fi connection and the configuration of your local network, by bringing critical system data directly to the user's smartphone, HMI Live eliminates the boundaries of shop-floor visibility, unlocking the true potential of remote access. Immediate updates on machinery health, process anomalies, and production status are available wherever and whenever needed, empowering teams to react swiftly without the need to physically interact with hardware panels.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you, as the owner company of the Industrial HMI System providing the data to be consumed by HMI Live, consider it a risk to share information about the status of your automated system, you can always disable partially or totally the publishing service from your own server (stopping the local application “Industrial Server Connect”).

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 22, 2025

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the End-User, and DePeuter Packaging Solutions ("DPPS") for the use of the HMI Live software. “HMI Live”, hereinafter “iLive”, is part of the DPPS Infinite software ecosystem, and is a complementary industrial software. It serves to enable mobile access to the data being published by your “HMI System” (developed by DPPS), hereinafter “iHMI”.

iLive is primarily used to consume information from an existing “iHMI” system, as long as it provides information publishing services through the “Infinite Server Connect” application, and through the enabled network service. Therefore, the conditions under which the application is able to provide information are the following:

  • There is an available network connection, and it is shared by the server where the “iHMI” system runs, and by the device where the “iLive” application is installed.
  • The “iHMI” system server has the “Infinite Server Connect” application installed, and its corresponding API services are enabled.
  • The “iHMI” system is running and has an information publishing function enabled.
  • The installed version of the “iLive” application is the most up-to-date and its information access permissions are verifiable.

By accessing or using "iLive”, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the software.

Disclaimer of Warranty

“iLive” is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, "DPPS” and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the software.

No Obligation of Support

“DPPS” is not obligated to provide maintenance, technical, or other support for “iLive”. The End-User is encouraged to report bugs and suggestions to improve the software. If you need more, or less data to be shown in the “iLive” from your “iHMI”, a technical support order should be sent to “DPPS” to update your “iHMI” and not “iLive”, because your HMI system is the one publishing the data and structure used by “iLive”.

Responsibility of Use

You are solely responsible for ensuring the data being published through “iLive” is consistent. “iLive” relies on the information your system shares. If there is any data inconsistency, make sure your system is properly publishing the required data. “DPPS” is not responsible for errors or malfunctions caused by improper use or lack of validations produced by an HMI System needing maintenance or technical support.

Intellectual Property

All content and code within “iLive” remain the intellectual property of “DPPS” and its authors. Any modification or redistribution must credit the original authors and clearly state that the software is not the original version.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Harris County, Texas.

Electronic Agreement

By installing and using the app “iLive”, you waive any and all defenses you may have based on the electronic form of these Terms and Conditions and the lack of signing by the parties to execute these Terms.

Severability

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Main Screens

The app is organized into three main areas. The third one (HMI Live Screen) is flexible and adapts to the structure/data that the industrial system publishes.

Home Screen

Provides options to Scan QR and discover Servers on the local network that publish HMI data, plus access to Help & Legal resources and language selection (English/Spanish).

Home Screen sample
Scan QR

Opens the camera to scan the QR code provided by the Automated System you want to connect. The QR contains the server info and adds it to your discoverable servers list.

Servers Screen

Scans the local network to detect servers publishing HMI data. Displays server name and access data so you can select where to connect and visualize shared HMI information.

HMI Live Screen

This screen is data-driven: its cards/indicators and layout depend on the system type, the data structure, and what the Industrial Automation System decides to share through Server Connect. HMI Live provides base cards and primitive indicators to render that data.
